Mumbai’s cultural landscape witnessed an extraordinary celebration of art, luxury, and heritage with the grand inauguration of The Gold Dynasty at the iconic Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda. Presented by Yellow Orchid Heritage Pvt. Ltd., the multi-disciplinary showcase was inaugurated by legendary singer Anuradha Paudwal alongside former Union Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Dr. Sanjay Bhide, Rajesh Dhabare, GST and Customs Commissioner Umesh Patel, Satish Patil, and Bhagyashree Pansare.
Conceived as an immersive experiential exhibition, The Gold Dynasty moves beyond the framework of a conventional art showcase by bringing together fine art, haute joaillerie, museum-grade sculptures, and heritage-inspired creations under one roof. The exhibition transforms Gallery No. 1 into a carefully curated walk-through narrative, guiding visitors across distinct visual eras that celebrate India’s artistic lineage and master craftsmanship.
The exhibition features over 150 paintings and sculptures by more than 35 renowned and emerging artists from across India such as Abhijeet Chaubal, Amit Gautam, Atul Bhalerao, Ayushi Jain, Bhuvan Silhare, Bodhi Shilpa, Chandrakant Tajbije, Debarati Sen, Datta Bansode, Deepak Garud, Dinkar Jadhav, Ganesh Hire, Gautam Mukherjee, Jyoti Menon, Karuna Kiran Shigwan, Kashyap Ray, Kiran Shigwan, Mamta Mondkar Shingade, Manoj Das, Nilesh Nikam, Nilesh Wade, Paras Parmar, Prakash Bal Joshi, Pradeep Sarkar, Preeti Mehta, Sachin Kharat, Satish Patil, Sharad Kale, Sonu Gupta, Vishwa Sahni, Vishal Fasle, Vibha Singh, Vinayak Potdar, Yashika Dhabre, and Yuvraj Patil, reflecting a vibrant spectrum of artistic voices. From evocative figurative compositions and spiritual interpretations to contemporary abstraction and intricate structural sculptures, the showcase captures the richness and diversity of Indian creativity.
Speaking about the vision behind the exhibition, Bhagyashree Pansare, Founder and Director of Yellow Orchid Heritage Pvt. Ltd., described The Gold Dynasty as a tribute to timeless Indian craftsmanship and cultural storytelling. The showcase also presents bespoke heritage-inspired jewellery suites, gold-leaf sculptures, bronze installations, and mixed-media artworks that seamlessly bridge historical artistic legacies with contemporary luxury aesthetics.
The exhibition has drawn art connoisseurs, collectors, and cultural enthusiasts, reaffirming Mumbai’s position as one of India’s leading destinations for contemporary art and cultural dialogue. The Gold Dynasty will remain open to visitors at Jehangir Art Gallery until June 8, 2026.
