Sheshagiri K M At ARTIVAL Art Event (23rd-25th NOVEMBER, 2018) : World Trade Centre, Mumbai

Sheshagiri K M was the main architect and designer for 32 feet monolithic sculpture of Sri Madhwacharya at Udupi. In his recent showcase this seasoned artist mindfully explores the beauty in contrast.

Sheshagiri K M is not a new name in the art fraternity. In his 25 years of art career, he has worked as an illustrator, animator, animation movie director, UI designer, brand manager, ad film designer, SME for south Indian traditional iconography and architecture, interior designer and UX consultant, for various groups and organizations.

Light and Dark are opposite to each other, but at the same time, they are meaningless too without each other. We need the combination of both dark and light in different ratios to understand this world. In the world where everyone is running behind “colours of their materialistic desires”, the artist brings forth the aura of black and white romanticism through his artworks. He considers the ‘light and dark’ as the “Creator” and “Mother Nature” terming them as “Purusha” and “Prakruti” respectively.
