Founded by the publishers of “Indian Contemporary Art Journal”, IAF is the only art fair held annually in two metro cities, Mumbai and Delhi. The 7th Mumbai Edition of Indian Art Festival (IAF) , held between 15th – 18th February 2018 at Discovery of India Art Building, Nehru Centre, Worli, can be termed as another successful attempt by the organiser.

For last eight years, India Art Festival has sought to provide an open atmosphere to showcase the very latest in contemporary art from new talents and well established names. The 7th edition of this art festival, saw a continued growth in its size, bringing on board over 50 Art Galleries and 575 cutting edge artists representing 30 cities across 10 nations from Asia, Africa, Middle East and Europe.

There were total 150 booths spread on the ground and second floor. The young talents teeming with the unbridled form of creativity, have brought refreshing and radical visual art voices. The organisers were very particular about the quality of the works and artists as a part of selection criteria.

Being a contemporary art fair, the organiser gave priority to the contemporary artists but they also remained focused keep the balance to have a panorama of all forms. The most interesting feature of this festival was that this year they covered the event even virtually through its e-commerce portal www.eindiaartfestival.com.

All the artworks displayed in the booth during the festival were also made available online.
