Childhood Memories: An Art Exhibition By Mr. Anand C. Shende
Mr. Anand C. Shende, a distinguished artist and a faculty member at the College of Arts in Chandigarh, recently mesmerized art enthusiasts with his evocative artworks at the renowned Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. Mr. Shende’s exhibition, a part of a group show titled “QUAD – A Group Show Of Paintings and Sculpture,” transported viewers on a nostalgic journey into his childhood memories. He employed the Water Colour Wash Technique, which he learned and drew inspiration from his professor and colleague, Mr. Pankaj Saroj.
Speaking about his artistic journey, Mr. Shende remarked, “Childhood memories are a treasure trove of emotions and experiences. I wanted to capture the simplicity and innocence of those days, and I found that the Water Colour Wash Technique was the perfect medium to do so. It allowed me to infuse life into common elements from my childhood and create compositions that resonate with viewers.”
