Media advisory – Technical briefing on new measures to protect Canadian research

OTTAWA, ON, Jan. 15, 2024 /CNW/ – Officials from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) will hold a technical briefing for the media on new measures to protect Canadian research to be announced by the Government of Canada on January 16, 2024. The briefing will take place via teleconference.

This is in follow-up to a statement made on February 14, 2023.

Members of the media are asked to register with ISED Media Relations at [email protected] by January 16 at 10:00 am. No registration will be accepted after this deadline. Embargoed materials will be provided before the briefing.
