The Prime Minister will attend the Canadian National Ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy and will deliver remarks. The Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, Ginette Petitpas Taylor, the Premier of Manitoba, Wab Kinew, the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, Andrew Furey, the Premier of Yukon, Ranj Pillai, the Premier of Nunavut, P. J. Akeeagok, and the National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak, will also be in attendance.
