InventHelp Inventor Develops Police Car Safety Product for Operating Traffic Lights (TRO-1128)

PITTSBURGH, June 21, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — “I’m a police officer and very familiar with the dangers posed when standing in an intersection directing traffic during power outages where the traffic lights are inoperable. I thought there could be a safer way,” said an inventor, from Acton, Ontario, Canada. “So I invented the LIGHT SAVER. My design enables the officer to operate the traffic lights from the safety of the cruiser.”

The patent-pending invention allows for backup operation of intersection traffic signals that experience power failure. In doing so, it eliminates the need for a police officer to stand in the middle of an intersection to direct traffic. As a result, it increases safety and convenience. It also helps maintain order and control at busy intersections. The invention features a reliable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for police departments. Additionally, a prototype model is available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Toronto sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
