Chandrakant Tajbije At ARTIVAL Art Event (23rd-25th NOVEMBER, 2018) : World Trade Centre, Mumbai

We are so much influenced by technology today, that the essence of face to face interaction has started disappearing.  Not every rural kid has access to costly toys or electronic gadgets. Still they have their own ways and means of entertainment that involve sharing of real emotions.

Artist Chandrakant Tajbije attempts to portray the very forgotten romance of “Real Interaction” through his amazing artworks, taking “Village Life” as his theme.

Chandrakant tries to capture the intimacy of the rural spirit in his artworks. His artworks are not less than a cinematic experience; taking you back to your childhood days to experience the rural simplicity and the true meaning of real interaction. The core of the subject of his recent art exhibition was “intimacy of rural India”. It evokes a visual sensations depicting “the rural kids and their innocent interactions with nature and their surrounding elements” to keep themselves engaged and entertained when their parents leave them alone at their homes during the “Dindhi-Waari celebration” at Pandharpur, Maharashtra.

He uses stylized forms and innovative colour schemes to bring out the mystery and grace to the subjects. From the selections of colors to the capturing of the subtle gestures and postures to the dramatized depiction of the very common elements (like birds, calf, bicycle, corn etc.) but presented in an amazing way, bring a life to the artist subject, making each artwork a masterpiece that is full of emotions.
